At first glance "Wise Words and Golden Gaffes" of Prince Philip looks like an incredibly amusing book - and it is. It has to be said that not all of the quotations and stories in this little book are % politically correct, but it is totally refreshing to read amusing scenarios from the rather strange and quite incredible life of the Queen's husband/5(8). Prince Philip is a much more complex historical figure than you realize. This book covers his early life up to his marriage to Queen Elizabeth.
